the Royal Gorge is one of the best white water rafting trips in Colorado and world renowned. Experience the most amazing scenery of the sheer 1100? cliff walls that surround you while rafting beneath the worlds highest suspension bridge. You will challenge class IV, V rapids such as Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer and the Narrows just to name a few. This section is suitable for first time rafters that are looking for an exciting challenge & experienced paddlers alike. Good physical condition is recommended at high water and the minimum age is dependent upon the varied water levels. Please call or email us with any questions you may have.

The Bighorn Sheep Canyon is a beautiful and classic stretch of river often referred to as "the Grand Canyon of the Arkansas". This section is a great place for your first rafting experience and for those experienced alike. You will challenge thrilling awe-inspiring rapids such as 3 Rocks, Spike Buck, Sharks Tooth, and Wake Up! You will find tranquil and calm areas to relax in as well. Enjoy the magnificent scenery while watching for many of the local Bighorn Sheep that make this canyon home.

Take off! with our popular Water 2 Wine Heli Tour. Soak up the sun, fun and some of Colorado's finest wine from the award winning Vineyard at the Holy Cross Abbey. This intoxicating tour operates every week Monday through Thursday.

 

You adventure begins in white water rafting Colorado's famous Royal Gorge section of the Arkansas River. At the end of your rafting adventure you will be greeted by private shuttle with a change of clothes and then taken to the Winery at Holy Cross Abbey for a private wine tasting of their award winning wines. Take time to enjoy delicious hor d'ourves and tour the H.C.A. Vineyard facilities. Afterwards you may choose your favorite wine to take home to enjoy, or to accompany with dinner* back at our popular White Water Bar & Grill.

 

After your tour of the vineyard we will relax at our riverside gazebo awaiting departure via jet helicopter! Get ready to fly through the amazing scenery of the Royal Gorge past the famous Royal Gorge Bridge, up over the rim of the Gorge to land gently at Royal Gorge Rafting!
