Upon arriving your first evening to our location we will get you set up with your camp site. You will have full use of all of our new camping gear: quality tents, sleeping bags and sleeping pads. The next morning wake up to the picturesque views of the Royal Gorge and the Sangre de Christo Mountain Range, then enjoy a freshly cooked meal at our very own White Water Bar & Grill and get ready for the days adventure that lies ahead.
Day 1 || We will raft the Bighorn Sheep Canyon for 20 miles and enjoy a professionally prepared riverside lunch along the way. After a challenging day of rapids and serene stretches of river we will head back to our base camp, enjoy drinks and a well prepared meal while relaxing in the comfortable surroundings of the White Water Bar & Grill where we will present a slide show of your day on the river. Afterwards you will have the option to head out to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park to do some biking and sight seeing or head into town to ride along the scenic stretches of the Arkansas River Walk or you may wish to just relax, enjoy a chair massage and take an excursion the next evening.
Day 2 || After breakfast we will warm up on the class 3 rapids of the Bighorn Sheep Canyon in the morning, enjoy a delicious lunch and then run down the more challenging rapids of the Royal Gorge in the afternoon. Sunshine Falls , Sledgehammer and Wall slammer are a few you will encounter along the way with many other challenging rapids in-store.
Specialty dinner items are prepared for our inclusive guests: Mesquite Grilled Steak with Baked Pinto Beans, a side of Cole Slaw and a delicious desert.
Smoked Alaskan Salmon served over a bed of Savory Sage Polenta with Roasted Red Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus and of course a delicious desert.
White Oak smoked Barbecue Brisket, the best beef brisket in Colorado ! Corn on the Cob and a delicious Greek salad.
All of your beverages will be included from the White Water Bar & Grill with dinner, drink in moderation if you wish to participate in any white water rafting activities.
What’s included in the price of your trip:
Two full days of guided White Water Rafting from class 3 the first day and Class 4 / 5 rapids the next (depending upon water levels) totaling 40 river miles on the Arkansas River!
All Camping gear and facilities: Tents, Sleeping Bags, Sleeping Pads and Shower Tokens. (Cabins may be provided at an extra charge.)
All meals and beverages from our White Water Bar & Grill. Day 1 Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Day 2 Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Day 3 Morning Breakfast and you will be happily on your way! (Bar Beverages only in the evening only if you plan to participate in any excursion!)
A professional photo cd of your entire trip (one per client)
A professionally bound 25 page photo book containing your favorite pictures (one per group)
An afternoon biking at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park or take a ride down the beautiful River Walk trail in Canon City. (shuttles provided)
